Seperti biasa produk Apple selalu dinanti-nanti dan penuh rumor di sebelum peluncurannya. iPhone 4G yang sudah lama dinanti para pemburu gadget Apple telah resmi diluncurkan.

Dilansir KabarIT dari Cnet, dalam Worldwide Developers Conference 2010, CEO Steve Jobs secara resmi mengumumkan iPhone 4G yang sudah menjadi rumor selama beberapa bulan ini. Seperti rumor-rumor yang sebelumnya beredar, iPhone 4G memiliki dua kamera yang dapat digunakan untuk video call. Perbedaan mencolok pada iPhone 4G dengan generasi sebelum-sebelumnya adalah desain body samping dan back case. Back case pada iPhone 4G berbentuk rata tidak seperti versi-versi sebelumnya yang berbentuk melengkung.

Selain tambahan vitur video call iPhone 4G memiliki beberapa tambahan vitur yang sangat menarik. Layar sentuh pada iPhone 4G ini menggunakan layar resolusi tinggi yang disebut Retina display. Layar ini memiliki kulaitas 4 kali pixel layar iPhone generasi sebelumnya. Dengan SO iPhone 4 , iPhone 4G dapat melakukan multi tasking yang tidak dapat dilakukan generasi iPhone sebelumnya. Seperti pada iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4G dapat melakukan recording video, yang membedakannya iPhone 4G menggunakan kulitas HD dalam recordingya. iPhone meningkatkan kualitas kameranya yang menggunakan kamera 5 Mega Pixel dengan built in flash LED.

iPhone 4G akan mulai tersedia dengan layanan dari AT&T pada tanggl 24 Juni 2010 ini. Diperkirakan AT&T menjual dengan harga $ 199 untuk 16GB dan $ 299 untuk 32GB dengan pilihan warna Hitam dan Putih.
